2013 Classic Postcard & Ephemera Show

It's time once again!  On Saturday, April 20th, dealers from five states will be selling postcards and ephemera of local town scenes, historical vistas, and specialized topics.  Doughnuts, coffee, and pizza will be available to purchase on site as well.  Admission is $3.00 and both entry fees and refreshment proceeds will benefit the Historical Society of Greenfield.

Patriots Day Weekend at Historic Deerfield

On April 13th, Historic Deerfield will open their 2013 Regular Season with most museum houses available for touring on the hour (guided tours that last approximately one-half hour each) as well as the Patriot's Day Revolutionary Muster & Parade from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  In addition, and throughout the season, two museum houses will be open all day for self-guided tours, as will the Flynt Center of Early New England Life.  The Apprentice's Workshop at Dwight House will be open from 12:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m.  A free orientation film will shown throughout the day at the Hall Tavern Visitor Center. Pre-arranged tours-by-appointment and group tours can be scheduled at (413) 775-7132 or tours@historic-deerfield.org.

Tourette Syndrome Child & Adolescent Mental Health Program

Greenfield Community Television (GCTV), in partnership with Garry L. Earles, LICSW, project coordinator, applied for and was awarded a grant from the Brad Cohen Tourette Foundation of Roswell, Georgia. The grant is for producing and distributing an educational program on the myths and realities of Tourette Syndrome (TS) and associated conditions.

Call for Applicants: GCTV 2013 Scholarship Contest

Greenfield Community Television (GCTV) is committed to supporting tomorrow's leaders in media. Each year, a graduating high school senior that has demonstrated a strong aptitude in Media Production, and has chosen to pursue this field after graduation, is selected to receive a cash award of up to $1,000 from GCTV. This award is offered only to residents of Greenfield or students enrolled in schools located in the city of Greenfield.
