At 7PM yesterday the Regional Shelter located at the Montague Elks Club, at 1 Elks Avenue in Turners Falls, closed.

As of 5pm yesterday, the Regional Shelter for people affected by this weekend's snowstorm, which had been located at Turners Falls High School, has been moved to the Montague Elks Club at 1 Elks Avenue in Turners Falls.

Greenfield town officials held a press conference this afternoon to inform the public about the response to this weekend's unseasonable snowstorm.  Halloween trick-or-treating will be postponed, there will be school tomorrow, and an emergency shelter has been set up in Turners Falls.

***At 7pm on November 3rd, the Regional Shelter for people affected by this weekend's snowstorm, which had been moved to the Montague Elks Club at 1 Elks Avenue in Turners Falls, closed.***
