PRIMARY CAMPAIGN UPDATE
The Democratic 2nd Franklin District State Representative Candidates took a few moments out of their busy schedules to let us know how their respective runs for office are going.

DEMOCRATIC STATE REPRESENTATIVE CANDIDATES FORUM
On Tuesday, August 31st, the four Democrats vying for their party's nomination in the 2nd Franklin District State Representative Race met in our studio to discuss, not debate, the issues. This relaxed event was sponsored by the Greenfield Democratic Town Committee.

WMECO RATE INCREASE PUBLIC HEARING
On August 19th, Massachusetts Attorney General Martha Coakley came to town to get feedback from local citizens regarding a proposed increase in charges for electricity.

Mayor William Martin recently interviewed Greenfield Public Schools Registrar Lisa McGuinness about her work, the state of education in town, and the Volunteers In Public Schools (VIPS) Program.
